Aida is the founder, creative director and costume designer for Kahroba, a group of passionate dancers from diverse dance backgrounds. Brought together by their love of Persian art, culture, and poetry, the group has presented classical Persian dance in Nowruz events around New Zealand, including in the inaugural Nowruz celebration in the New Zealand parliament in 2025.
